These will work for your SOHC CB750 or larger!
CB550 and below use the 1:7 tach

The Speedo will work on ALL HONDA's with mechanical drive.
I am not sure what the tach ratio is for DOHC ('79 and up,)
but i believe they are the same- 1:4 ratio
i also have 1:5 and 1:7 ratio tachometers.
They come with the flat, chrome, Y shaped mount bracket attached.
However,
they do NOT come with a rubber mounted clamp to clamp onto the handlebars.
They can be mounted where your stock gauges mounted,
if you have the mounting holes on the upper triple clamp.
Note: you must rubbermount gauges for long life!
no warranty if you don't rubbermount the gauges
-hard mounting (metal to metal-no rubbermounts)
will kill your gauges quickly!
No tripmeter.

2.1:1 ( 60mph=2240rpm) ratio
for nearly all Japanese bikes,
and 21" front wheel Harleys.
The Tach is 1:4 ratio for most Japanese bikes and most HONDA 4's bigger than 650cc.
1:7 is also available for 550cc and under HONDA

FAQ's
Q: how do you install these gauges, is there a manual?
A: The manufacturer does not provide an instruction manual-
they expect the end user to have a basic knowledge of this type of installation.
But basically, you hook up the tachometer and speedometer cables to the back of the gauges,
and you attach the black ground wire for the light to ground, and the red positive wire to a switched power lead
that has power once you switch the key to the ON position.
