Antique French Sevres hand painted porcelain sculpture depicting the allegorical theme ‘The Rape of Europa’, highly detailed porcelain figure depicting sensual woman sitting upon the bull, lavishly decorated with floral wreaths. Amazing sculpture crafted after French Rococo painted Francois Boucher (1703-1770). Most voluptuous French painted of classical and allegorical themes. The figure is good condition, some flowers restored, restoration to floral wreath upon bull’s neck, touch-up to bull’s horn. Restoration to flowers with-in the basket.
