Please note this is, with the book included, a HEAVY ITEM so please do consider the cost of shipping given above and below in the items description.  Here I am selling Ron McCrindell’s BING Gauge one live steam 0-4-0 tank Locomotive, dating from 1902. This being an early North London Railway live steam locomotive and this actual Locomotive was owned by Ron McCrindell and featured in his book “Toy Trains” as item 2 on page 48. A signed by the author copy of the book is supplied with the Locomotive. .……..PLEASE do see and study photographs to judge condition and content………………… yourself. Ron did often steam his engines and so there has been some paint “touching in” since photographed in the book. The Locomotive is powered by a single cylinder situated in the cab and drives the rear wheel through a flywheel and gears. It has a safety valve, whistle and still has the original burner, a Gauge 1 Locomotive approx. 27 cm in length and looks to have all original parts and has a gauge transfer to front. This is a “hard to find” Locomotive these days and is highly suitable for live steam or cabinet display use..……..PLEASE do see and study photographs to judge condition and content……yourself.
