Product Overview:
The A Pro Hobbies Transmitter Backlight Kit is intended to help you see the transmitter screen in low-light condition, especially for night flying but also add unique custom looks to your transmitter. Our backlight kits have many advantages and are of much higher quality over low cost traditional LED or DIYs.
We designed this kit with two important aspects, performance and low power consumption. With only ~35mA of current draw, the backlight can stay on continuously with little to no affect on power lost. However, if you are running stock NiMH batteries, we highly recommend using Sanyo Eneloop 2000 AA batteries to further extend your run time with or without a backlight.
Backlit screen is a huge advantage for those that like to fly at night or simply want to make your radio looks unique. Having a backlit screen also double as an alarm which let you know your radio is on, a lot of people forgot to turn off their radio after flying resulting in blown fuses, puffed lipo battery due to overdischarged, and worse case the puffed lipo could start a fire and destroying your expensive radio.

What's the different from the backlight kit for DX6i (without DSMX)?
- This kit is compatible with the SpekTrum DX6i DSMX transmitter.
- The external switch kit is included and must be installed. The backlight will need to be turned off during the binding process to avoid possible interference. Once you have binded to your model, then the backlight can always be on without any other interference.
- This kit also includes a special polarizer filter that fix the issue with blank screen once the reflective silver backing is removed. It is to be installed between the back of the LCD screen and the backlight panel.

Installation requirements:
- Disassemble the transmitter and LCD screen assembly.
- Have basic electronic and soldering skill.
- All the required tools (soldering iron, screw drivers, hobby knife, etc.).
Please note: This mod will void your warranty however the included step by step instructions with color pictures should make the installation process as straight forward as possible.

60 Days Limited Warranty:
This product features a warranty against any functional defects otherwise stated within 60 days of purchase. This warranty does not cover any damages caused to your transmitter or LCD screen due to incorrect installation and any modifications to the product itself will voids its warranty automatically. Should the backlight stopped working within the warranty period, please contact us for repair or replacement service. Although we have extensively tested our backlight kit and it is completely safe to install, this warranty will not cover in part or whole of any damages that may occur on your transmitter during or after installing this backlight kit.

- This product may only be returned/exchange in New and Unopened condition within 14 days of purchase.
- Defective product(s) which include a manufacturer warranty will be handled directly by the manufacturer.

- Defective item(s) may be returned for a replacement only. Items returned for other reasons will be subjected to a 25% restocking fees.
- Due to the nature of RC Hobby, any warranty implied will not cover wears, improper use, mishandled, installation error, incorrect wiring, ect.
- All products returned must be completed with all original/retail packaging including all accompanied accessories as delivered to you.

- By law, 8.25% sales tax will be applied for orders shipping within the state of Texas.
