The metal clip from old knob is not needed for these new replacement knobs. Sometimes the old knobs will leave a small metal clip - sleeve around the radio knob post. Be sure to remove this clip before trying to slide the new knobs on. It is easily over looked and the new knobs will not slide over the old sleeve. Thank you!!!
