All products are send in padded envelopes to make sure that their will arrive in excellent condition. We can assure you that all our seeds are fresh. If any of them are unsold during the season, they come back to manufacturer. And in new season we supply our shop with fresh seeds. We try to provide the highest quality for the lowest price. Description
A medium-early variety, with predominantly female flowers; has parthenocarpic characteristics (recommended also for greenhouse cultivation).
First variety of ground cripping cucumber with smooth edible skin free of bitterness. Fantastic for fresh salads.
Fruits are shapely, dark green with very sparse, weakly visible warts. Average fruit length of approx. 18-20cm (7-8 inch), with a small seed chamber, free of bitterness. The variety is tolerant to downy mildew and fungal Cladosporium cucumerinum.
Sowing instruction.
Cucumbers are not hard to grow if you provide good soil, plenty of moisture and full sun, wait for soil and weather to warm before planting, and use fabric row covers if pests are a problem.
Direct-sow seeds in a sunny spot after all danger of frost is past, or start indoors and transplant when the first true leaf appears.
