Here are 5 Carol Day originals from the story, Max Kalman, which began in June 1967.  The strips are #3115, 3117, 3118, 3120, 3121. This week's auctions are my final ones for 2015.

Max Kalman is the thirty third Carol Day story, beginning on July 4, 1966 and concluding on November 3, 1966. It comprises strips #3043-3147.

Max Kalman is the sequel to Jack Slingsby, Wright’s masterpiece, and it is another Carol Day story centered in the art world.  A couple of years have gone by since Jack Slingsby, and Carol and Jack meet by chance on a flight to Paris, where Jack is going to visit his old mentor, a famous artist who makes Jack the heir to his estate. Jack and Carol rekindle their romance as they try to deal with the impact of Jack’s inheritance.

Size of each is about 20.75 inches by 7.75 inches. Image size is consistently about 5.25 by 18.5 inches. Overall the boards are in excellent condition with just some minor soiling in the margins, as you can see in the scans. Dialog balloons are pasted up. Some mechanical shading is used, as you can see in the scans.

If you want to read the story, Max Kalman is available as an ebook on all Amazon sites worldwide for $2.99 or the equivalent in other currencies.

Postage is $22 in the US by priority mail, with delivery confirmation and insurance. Out of the US postage is $55 for priority mail. Paypal only.

Buyer is responsible for any customs fees/duties/taxes. Customs value will be the closing price of the auction.

I have a single Carol Day, also up for auction this week as well. Shipping on that one is free if combined with this lot. In addition, I have comic book art on ebay this week.
