Political criticism and sexual freedom through cabaret entertainment was rampant in cities like Berlin and Munich, and was enormously popular.Porzellanmanufaktur Schaubach-Kunst is a venerable hard paste porcelain manufacturer located in the village of Wallendorf, Thuringia. They have been in continual business since 1763, though have changed ownership numerous times. On the bottom is the crown & crosses swords mark of SCHAUBACH-KUNST mark which was originally Pozellanfabrik Wallendorf.The 10" tall dancer is comprised of a combination of sensuous bisque and hard glazed porcelain. The modelling is exquisite as are the sensitive hand-painted details.
