For sale is a Traditional Scale NIB Breyer # 1495 Marwari. He is a new sculpt by Brigitte Eberl and is wonderfully correct in every way. This palomino color was the first regular run color produced. He was produced from 2013 - 2015.

The Marwari may be a very rare breed, but they certainly stand out in a crowd! The hallmark characteristic of this exotic breed is its distinctive ears, which curl inward and may touch or overlap. Native to India, the only known location where Marwari horses can be seen by the public in North America is at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY, the home of BreyerFest!

Marwari horses get their name from the Marwar region of Rajasthan, India. While the breed's precise origins are unknown, the Marwari was bred to for speed and endurance, as they were the treasured mounts of Rajput rulers and warriors. The breed was once at risk of disappearing due to the country's changing political and social climates, but today conservation efforts are in place thanks to the work of several dedicated individuals and India's Indigenous Horse Society. Marwari horses are athletic and intelligent animals, and can be just about any coat color and pinto pattern. Standing on average 15-16hh, Marwaris are refined horses with a slightly arched neck, hard hooves, and may display an ambling gait.

The Marwari is still sealed and tied in the original box. The box may have normal wear. I noted no flaws on the horse. I cannot guarantee the condition of the boxed side. Please note that I have multiples of this model. You may not receive the exact horse pictured. You will receive a brand new in box Breyer #1495 Marwari.

Payment is expected within 48 hours. I am happy to combine shipping on any of my items shipping from California and ending within a 7 day time period except on listings that specifically state otherwise. If shipping cannot be combined it will be noted at the beginning and end of the item description to make it as clear as possible. I operate 2 separate store locations. I can combine shipping for items shipping from my California location only. Additionally, discounted combined shipping is only available if your order is combined before payment is made. Please see the Payment section for additional information.

Please note that I ship using USPS Priority Mail (the exception being oversized packages). This includes significantly faster transit time than ground mail, as well as $100 insurance and is fully trackable. Please be aware that shipping weight is rated by the pound, 1 pound + 1 ounce ships at a rate of 2 pounds. I make every effort to keep the shipping weight down but I will not pack poorly simply to save money and risk damage to the horse(s).

I pack safely and ship within 24 business hours.

Express and International shipping is available. I am sorry to say that the cost of International shipping has increased greatly. For example, the cost of sending 1 Breyer horse to the UK via USPS First Class Mail costs approximately $24. This is the very cheapest option that I have found.

Terms of Sale

I describe every listing to the best of my ability but I am not perfect. Please examine the pictures closely and ask questions. Items are sold with a money back guarantee but you must notify me of your intent to return within 48 hours of receipt of the merchandise. Items must be received back in the same condition as I shipped them in. Postage will be the buyer's responsibility. If damage should occur during shipping please notify me immediately and I will assist you in filing an insurance claim where applicable.
