One of the oldest heirloom varieties. This long trailing sprawling, squash variety produces lots of round flattened heavily ribbe drum shaped fruit . Slate gray color hard skin when ripe with bright orange flesh, average weight about 7-15 lbs. Keeps very well , we are still selling last years crop on our market stall in April! .

We are professional growers with a 50 acre certified organic farm in France. Every year we grow a wide variety of vegetable for our farm shop and for our stand at farmers markets. We always over estimate the amount of seed required and so are offering our surplus seed in smaller quantities for the enthusiastic gardener. Each variety will be individually packaged in clear gripper bags with with detailed information sticker.

These will then be in one of our beautiful  "squash & pumpkin collection" pictoral packets with growing hints and tips. Great gift for a keen gardener.

Your seed will be dispatched within 24 hours by priority air mail from France and international postage normally takes between 7 and 10 working days to USA.

Returns accepted if unopened seed packets are returned to us within 14 days of receipt. Return shipping charges will be buyers responsibility.

All seed supplied by us is from reputable commercial seed companies, fully germination tested and also grown by ourselves so we can verify it is viable seed. Each packet will detail packing date, quantity of seed and sow by date.
