This 18x14 inch Proteak Edge Grain teak cutting board is a great all-purpose board for the kitchen. A half-inch juice groove aids in meat preparation while a corner hole gives the option of hanging. Teak is a superior wood that resists cracking, rot and comes in a varied spectrum of colors from gold to brown. Light weight at less than 5 pounds, this cutting board is easy to handle and can take on all of your standard kitchen tasks.

How to Take Care of your Chopping Block
- New boards should be seasoned with oil immediately
- Our easy 1-2-3 method of oiling - put your block into a clear trash bag. Pour in half a cup of mineral oil over the wood board. From the outside of the bag, rub oil into the block or cutting board. Tie off bag and let sit overnight.
- Oil at least once a month with food grade mineral oil afterward
- For even better protection, use beeswax based wood conditioner after oiling.
- Rub in wax with soft cloth and buff evenly over surface.
- Waxes help prevent liquids from entering and staining wood, while oils help keep your wood from cracking and warping.
