Antique c1810-15 Liverpool Herculaneum Porcelain Tea & Coffee ServicePattern 820

An absolutely fabulous and extremely rare to find antique Herculaneum porcelain tea and coffee service hand painted in a beautiful floral pattern with lavish gilding. A fantastic Regency teaware for a true lover of old English porcelain.

Pattern 820, documented in Peter Hyland's 'Herculaneum Pottery: Liverpool's Forgotten Glory', p.142.
The tea and coffee service dates from 1810-1815.

Six place setting comprising:
6 Bute shape tea cups
6 coffee cans
6 saucers
'New oval' shape teapot, cover and stand
Oval sugar box with cover
A bread plate

Measurements:
tea cup 5.5cm high, 8cm in diameter
coffee can: 6.5cm high, 6.5cm in diameter
saucer: 13cm in diameter
bread plate: 20cm in diameter
teapot: 17.5cm high
oval stand: 15 to 18cm
sugar: 15cm high

Condition: all items have fine crazing and some wear to the enamels and gilding commensurate with age (the worst wear is photographed); there is a crack to the teapot bottom, this can be repaired from the inside and would not be very visible; one tea cup has a chip to the rim, all other tea cups, coffee cans and saucers as well as the sugar and plates have no chips and cracks which is an amazing condition for a teaware of this age. Please refer to the photos for details.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

I'm a mum of two running a one-person business so my default shipping option for the UK is a courier delivery. I usually use Hermes or whatever courier is cheaper in each case depending on the size and weight of the parcel. If you need a next day Royal Mail delivery, it can be arranged upon request but please contact me in advance. I charge a small amount for boxes and packaging materials. I will gladly combine shipping whenever possible.

OVERSEAS SHIPPING

I ship abroad via Royal Mail as couriers are too expensive for this. I can only ship overseas once a week. I can combine shipping for smaller items that would fit into Royal Mail Small Packet weight/size limits.

I sell to customers all over the world, from Russia and Japan to South America and it's impossible to set up the exact P&P for every single country on eBay so MY POSTAGE QUOTE IS A REGIONAL ESTIMATE ONLY. If the actual postage is less than my quote on eBay, I will refund the difference via PayPal. If you are unsure about the postage, please contact me and I'll do my best to give you the quote to your particular destination.

An additional note to bidders from Russia: I cannot be held responsible for any parcel damaged or lost in transit to Russia as Russian Post is notorious for being extremely rough and unreliable. Please bid at your own discretion.

EU SHIPPING

I ship to the EU either by Royal Mail or couriers, whichever is cheaper depending on the size/weight of the parcel. Delivery time varies depending on the service chosen in each case, but normally it's no more than 10 working days.

I always reciprocate feedback but sometimes cannot do it immediately. Please allow some time for the feedback to be given.

Thank you and good luck bidding!
