This tall and elegant teapot/jug is well-balanced, easy to use, wonderful to pour, and not too heavy for even the smallest person to lift.

With a capacity of 1900ml, it makes up to 10 x 200 ml cups - great for serving at the dinner table or for a tea party or multiple guests.

Measuring 22.7 cm from base to jug top, 27 cm from base to lid top, 17 cm across the widest part of the jug (including the handle), and 9 cm across the lid, this tall jug fits nicely in the refrigerator.

After removing the stainless steel lid and strainer, you can also heat this jug in your microwave (providing it is tall enough, internally).

Hand blown borosilicate glass (also known as pyrex) means that the teapot can take boiling water or iced, from -120 to +150 degrees Celsius.
This strong yet lightweight glass is similar to that seen in most electric glass kettles on the market.
All parts can be cleaned in a dishwasher.

The sturdy handle is well shaped to the hand, and the lip pours well.
The handle does not get hot when boiling water is poured into the jug.

Unlike pots with built-in infusers, this pot has a built in strainer inside the lid, so leaves, fruit pieces, herbs and spices can be placed directly into the glass jug and boiled water poured on.
When the beverage is poured, the leaves stay in the pot, held back by the strainer.

Using a strainer instead of a built-in infuser, you can place larger pieces of fruit and spices into the pot to brew.

This makes for some delicious layers of flavor for iced teas or herbal/fruit infusions.
(We often use this pot for making our herbal well-being teas in).

The tallness of the teapot without internal obstructions is also perfect for allowing the full expansion of leaves and flowers in blooming tea balls, with complete viewability through the clear glass.

If you are using quality loose leaf tea and herbals, this pot is an easy way to rebrew your leaves to extend your beverage.
Just pour more boiling water onto the leaves in the pot when it has been emptied of liquid.

We use this teapot in our family, for both hot and cold teas and tisanes.
Even the children can handle it easily.

We make a large brew in the pot, and then add more water after we have drunk our fill of the hot beverage, and refrigerate the leftovers as iced tea - a wonderful addition at meal times.

It is our favorite teapot and has usurped our other teapots for daily use.
We have more than one in use at any time, using one for hot teas and another couple kept in the fridge with different iced teas.

At dinner time, it's great to place this good-looking teapot on the table.
The kids drink healthy herbals and teas with their meals, instead of soft drinks or juices.
