use jojoba oil on both jewellery and ears to aid protection.

 

Organic natural jewellery are hand made and a work of art and should be handled with care.
 
Gently clean with mild soap and water.

  Dry immediately and condition with a thin coat of natural oil (coconut, jojoba, or olive oil).  

Occasional conditioning with oil is required of wood, bone and horn earrings to avoid drying out the earrings, which can cause splitting or cracking of your jewellery. 

A colour change or patina will occur over time from the conditioning oils & your skin oils.  This is normal and natural.

Some of the materials will naturally change colour over time, but that is part of the magic of dealing with natural materials!

  • -Do NOT autoclave your organics.
  • Avoid placing near central heating or open fires for long periods of time or in direct sunlight 
  • Natural horn / bone and wood jewellery will always hold a small amount of moisture this keeps them supple and stop them from cracking 
  • Avoid placing earrings directly in water, such as puddles on the bathroom sink or anywhere condensation may develop. 
  • Remove jewellery before showering, swimming, or saunas spa's . 
  • Due to its nature, our Organic Earrings should only be used in well healed piercings Do not use in fresh piercings.  .
  • Best storage for organic natural jewellery is in wood boxes(cigar humidors !! are the best !!) in a cool dry place.
