This item is a male connector as shown in the photos. It can be used to connect to the Yahama MT-09 auxiliary female connector which is located behind the right air-intake (see photo of female connector on bike and please ensure this is the right connector for you). This is a fused switched-live connection (as documented in the owners manual) and can be used to connect a USB socket, heated grips or other electrical items. A quick visit to the MT09 forums will show you exactly how to use this connector.
