What will this cable do for me?
A form of mains pollution called Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) is a serious form of distortion in Hi-Fi, Home Cinema and recording equipment. Our mains cables, thanks to their unique woven constructional earth shield, cancel interference that is already travelling on the mains and mean that your system does not act as a giant 'aerial' for RFI.
What about the cable & plugs?
The Audio Friendly clear mains plug on this cable comes fitted with a 13 amp fuse and the front prongs are slow buffer polished. The cable we use has a cross sectional area of 2.5mm2 on each individual wire to provide your equipment with a large chunk of electricity. To ensure conductivity is effortless, we finish the contacts with a burst of DeoxIT.
The POLISH on the IEC is undertaken by a partner company with 20 years of experience in the industry. The process involves heavy deposits on the pins and then a buffered polish. The end result is arguably one of the best plugs on the market.
