Men's Rockstar "Wood Rose" Applique Leather Jacket
circa late 60's early 1970s
Chic styling and a slender fit gives this vintage Crae Carlyle leather jacket its edge. Buttery soft caramel brown leather shapes the jacket. Contrasting Rose Applique & piping shoulder detail. Zipper on sleeve from elbow to cuff. 3 stacked pockets on each side detail the front. Buckle detail on last pocket. The jacket closes with 3 wooden buttons (bonus extra button still inside), and opens to a lined interior, and inside slit chest pocket. Back has double buckle waist details. And shoulder applique.
Designer Crae Carlyle was an Designer/off-shoot of the East West Musical Instruments Company that made high-quality, intricate leather pieces in the 1960s-1970s sold to Rockstar's like Janis Joplin. This jacket is the same as the East West "Wood Rose" Design, a very rare model. This is an early Crae Carlyle label showing this was his design before he made it under the East West Musical Instruments label.

These jackets were worn tight. Made of soft calf's skin to stretch and form to your body. Measurements taken while jacket was laying flat. Compare to one of your favorite leathers to make sure you can Rock this jacket.

Condition is Amazing. A tiny tiny spot on lapel, and flower. Original owner was a young Musician who purchased this cool jacket in the late 1960's in San Francisco. Jacket was to big and he hardly wore it. Yes to big!! So it's not broken in yet. Still it's original shape. Amazing details. Clean lining. No tears , No Odors. Ready to Wear or should I say Ready to Rock!
