Before you get upset this is a fawn from a deer farm in Wisconsin was most likely a still born or shortly after birth died from natural causes.
What a life like pose this vintage mount has. looks like new born laying in the forest. I have found some old butterflies put the aroud her to show easy it is decorat and change the way it looks. Endless ways to keep fresh looking and alway interesting with just a couple dried flowers may green grass.
I have never seen a mount this small it just adorable. It a very old mount not sure when guessing at least 60's it in amazing condition has some wear after all these years shows around the edges of the ears but overall very good condition.
The fawn itself is about 10" long and deep and 12" from bottom leg to tip of ear. On the log it measures aprox. 24" x 17" x 17" .
It has a card from the taxidermist and a metal band stating came from a deer farm in Wi.
