Below are some FAQ by customers over the month:

Q: Do I need to put extra blocks in my tank?

A:     Not necessarily. As we have an assorted range of sizes suitable for most tank sizes, adding more blocks than recommended to one tank would lead to the bacteria to become idle whilst consuming more oxygen in your tank. Usually the recommended amount is one mini block for a 10-20 litre tank; or one flower ring for 80-100 litre tank.

Q: Is this a type of medication tablet?

A: It’s not medication, it’s a beneficial bacteria in your tank, that eliminates bad bacteria to keep a healthy balance in the ecology of your tank. Thus its name “Eco Bio Ring/Block”.

Q: Can this product replace other types of aquarium water treatment?

A: Once the other water treatments have finished please be advised to wait 2-4 weeks before this product is able to safely replace them.

Q: Will my weak fishes become healthier?

A: It is dependant on a variety of factors. If an aquatic animal is naturally getting weak from aging, there is nothing to be done there However after using the product, weaker fishes do tend to become more active. But, for the cautionary keeper, placing the product in the tank for a week, prior to allowing weak and sick aquatic animals back into the tank, is advisory.

Q: I am trying to set up a new tank. What would you suggest?

A: We would suggest releasing your new pets in after the product has been  placed in the tank for approximately a week. That way, your pets will only need to get use to the tank water once.
