Very nice plant to collect,They do better in partial sun
I Use moist cactus soil mix that I got at any retail store like HD,Lowes,etc, and cover the pot with a plastic film to retain Humidity level, a heating mat is recommended, for faster germination, they germinated better with a temp around 75 degrees and soil must keep humid at all times until germination, once germination I make little holes on the plastic film to gradually adapt new seedlings to the outside
**Please soak seeds in water 6 to 12 H before sow,even they are fresh,this will speed germination**
Once they germinated I fertilize with "Superthrive" and they look amazing,very healthy and grow fast,you can buy that here at ebay many vendors have that for sale or any home depot or lowes,have that product
