~ Rare Mint Green + Chrome Antique CZECH Art Deco Light Fixture c.1930! ~

- Completely Restored and Ready to Install -

This Superb Antique Czech Art Deco Light Fixture would make an Excellent Addition to your Home! Truly a rare and elegant example of antique Art Deco Modernist lighting. It features high quality chrome plated all brass construction (except for the hardware), original rewired porcelain screw top sockets, and mint green shades that are in excellent condition. The shades bear the maker's mark, a sort of sun, but I'm not familiar with the exact mark. The finish does show some wear, but is in excellent condition considering the age. This fixture comes completely restored with all new wiring. The original canopy is in place, but I had to attach it to a new chrome canopy to make it large enough to fit over a modern electrical ceiling box (the wires used to just come out of the ceiling next to a bearing point for the fixture to hang on). They match so well it's hard to notice. The sockets are antique porcelain rim sockets, made to stand the test of time. All the harware necessary for standard modern installation is included! One thing to note is that the mint green color of the shades is not as apparent when the fixture is lit. The shades are lined with an inner layer of white glass, which tends to effect it more as the brightness is increased, as you can see in the last picture. The drop, or the distance the light hangs down, is 34 inches, and the width of the fixture is 19 inches. The bulbs used are for display purposes. They are a standard size 40 watt bulb that can be found at most hardware stores. Don't miss out on this rare piece! Quality light fixtures are one of the best additions you can make to your home! They add a ton of character! All the mounting hardware for standard installation is included, so this fixture will be ready to install! To ship more safely and efficiently this fixture will be partially disassembled. I removed the pipe that runs from the fixture body to the ceiling canopy. It screws back in easily and should not take much time.
