The color on the bear changes from light to dark, depending on the light.
This beautiful resin polar bear has a few flaws but it is still is a wonderful piece of mid century art.
Great for any collector!
Sascha Brastoff made decorative accessories, ceramics, enamels on
copper, and plastics of his own design. He headed a factory, Sascha
Brastoff of California, Inc., in West Los Angeles, from 1953 until about
1973. He died in 1993. Pieces signed with the signature Sascha Brastoff were his work and are the most expensive. Other pieces marked Sascha B.
or with a stamped mark were made by others in his company. Brastoff
made hand-painted vases, bowls, ashtrays, and figurines with his
trademark over glaze gold trim and flamboyant decorations. Pieces made by
Matt Adams after he left the factory are listed here with his name.
