These stencils are perfect for you to personalise your own projects. They will work on any surface including furniture, fabric, vehicles, industrial, walls, glass and flooring.  

We find using a Dovetails Stencil Brush is the best way to achieve a nice crisp, clear image. We have specifically designed them to get into all the nooks and crannies of an intricate stencil. See our other ads for brushes. Make sure to hold the stencil firmly in place while painting or better still - affix your stencil to whatever surface you are painting with masking tape.

Our stencils can be used with any paint such as wall paint, aerosols, acrylic, varnishes, stains etc as they are washable with either hot water or white spirit

 

TIP. For best results never overload the brush with paint, we like to use Annie Sloan Chalk Paint - but make sure it's not too runny - allowing air to get to the paint thickens it up, which is ideal.

 

You will only need a very small amount of paint on the end of the brush. Work off any excess paint on a spare piece of card or cloth.

 

To apply we find a dab, dab, dabbing motion with a Dovetails Stencil Brush at a 90 degree angle to the surface works well - like a little woodpecker!  You can also use a roller with micro-fibre sponge head or aerosol.

 

Carefully clean with soap and warm water ( or white spirit with solvent based paint) after use and allow to air dry. 

 

TIP. It's easier to clean before the paint hardens.

If possible please return any goods in the packaging it was supplied with. Ensure the parcel is carefully packed to reach us in the same condition it was sent out in.

Delivery All goods are sent either via Royal Mail first class post (up to 1kg) or Parcelforce 24 service (over 1 kg).
