A stunning design set with royal blue enamel. 'Twisting' style design with a band of enamel followed by a band of natural seeds pearls repeated. There is a single seed pearl in each shoulder just before the enamel tapers off and finishes
Inside the shank features the original glass locket back, I think there is still a lock of hair behind the glass. I haven't tried to remove this as the glass is a little chipped in places. I think it would need to either be left as is, or removed completely as I expect it would fracture if you tried to remove it.
Size L 1/2 (a small finger size)
Unmarked but tests as solid 18ct gold
Engraved inside 'M.G.Lz (?)' and 'May 2nd 1903'
This ring is in very good vintage condition. There are very small slight signs of wear to the enamel in places, but overall it is very good. Some parts of the enamel are darker and more 'thick' than others, which makes me wonder if the enamel has been repaired at some point during this rings life. The pearls are all secure but obviously do have signs of wear from over 100 years of use
A remarkable ring for it's age
A quality little antique ring which will be posted in a gift box and fully insured
