Kryptonite Wheel Boltz - Security Locking Skewers for Quick Release Bicycle Hubs
These clever little devices help fend off wheel theives!
The locking mechanism operates using gravity! So, when the bike is in the normal upright position it is not possible to undo the allen key bolts. However, when the bike is turned upside down, like it is when you mend a puncture, the allen key nuts can then be loosened and the wheel removed!
Each set comes with a front and a rear locking device.
These are suitable for bikes with quick release hubs only. The q/r skewers in your hub are replaced by the enclosed parts in the pack.
Front lock is 130mm wide and rear lock is 150mm wide. These work fine with most road and MTB quick release hubs
Front weighs 56g and rear weighs 61g.
Instructions supplied - very easy to fit.
