First Buyer wins!  Relisting due to non paying buyer


You are considering a nice working HED & Specialized wheelset.  These were most recently ridden on the track.  The disc comes with a single cog and both come with track axles and bolts.  The front will also take a cog  or freewheel if ever want to use that as a rear wheel.  The Disc is a HED Superlite and the Specailzied Trispoke was purchased by HED around the year 1999 so it is the same basic tried and true design of the current HED3 wheel.  The rear wheel looks good cosmetically and is true to the naked eye (within 1mm) and has smooth bearings.  The trispoke has smooth bearing and also looks true to the naked eye (within 1mm), and is in average cosmetic condition with a few scratches and also has a couple of professional carbon repair spots (see 11th picture).  There are no structural issues and if you used black touch up paint the spots would not even be visible.   Please see the pictures  Spec's:

-HED Superlite Carbon Disc rear wheel; REAR AXLE IS SPACED FOR 126MM REAR TRIANGLE - you would need a larger axle for 130mm rear triangle.  Threaded hub can accommodate freewheels as well as single cogs
-Specialized Trispoke Carbon frant wheel; axle spaced for standard front fork.  Rim is identical to rear rim so if you had an appropriate length rear axle, the hub is threaded s you can convert this into a rear wheel
-Includes a pair of bolt on skewers
-Includes a Dura Ace track cog, 15t
-Continental Rear tire that holds air but is chafed, you will want to replace it
-Both wheels have smooth bearings and look true when spun in hand (within 1mm)


Nothing super flashy, but high performance vintage aerodynamic wheels for the first buyer.  Both wheels have nice looking braking surfaces.  Both wheels are good working and will give you a lot of good miles.  The last picture shows the wheels on a track frame of mine, note that the Franklin frameset pictures is NOT INCLUDED, only the wheelset as described above.  Thanks for looking!
