This rare pair of Chinese blanc de chine containers are decorated with reticulated designs including lingzhi fungus, intricately done using a rare and complex process. Each jar is topped with a wooden cover. They are each impressed Chine, but one is also signed. They date from the republic period and each measure approximately 7 inches tall, 2 + 5/8 inches across the mouth, and 3 + 3/8 inches across the foot rim. Measurements are without the covers. The covers measure approximately 3 + 5/8 inches in overall diameter. They are in excellent condition with the exception of crazing and minor chipping on the foot rims.
