Hi and welcome to my listing for 2 industrial steel pipe shelf brackets 

These are malleable iron pipe shelf brackets. The base flanges are 3/4" threaded (3/4" internal pipe diameter, 26.7mm external pipe diameter). These are used a lot for industrial and rustic furniture, shelving and other projects, steam punk etc (see the photos of the brackets I sell and instances where they have been used for shelving although these can be used for other applications)

This pair are 4.75" x 4.75" in length and height (12.1cms x 12.1cms from flange edge to opposite flange edge). The brackets can be used to either support a shelf from underneath or the shelf can indeed be hung from the brackets.

make no mistake the components used to make these are solid and heavy unlike similar brackets available from China that are made from thin rolled metal tube and very simply do not compare in strength or appearance
