Up for auction is a really nice cast iron 1908 Taplin Mfg. Co. egg beater.  The beater measures approximately 12" in length.  The center wheel is about 3.75" in diameter and is marked on one side   THE TAPLIN MFG. CO.  NEW BRITAIN  CONN.  U.S.A.  and the other side reads   LIGHT RUNNING  PAT. NOV. 24-08.  The wood handle is in fine shape with no issues.  The wheel turns freely and the beater is in overall very good condition!!!
