 One of a small collection of shive hole collars listed.

A vintage brass collar fitting for the shive hole on a wooden beer barrel, made for Truman's brewery, and dating to around the first half of the 20th century.

The collar has been solid cast from brass and is circular in form with a threaded outside edge and a wide lip cast with 'TRUMAN' - please see photos and click to enlarge.

Size : Approx 2 7/8" diameter and 3/4" deep (approx 2" internal diameter).

Condition :  Good vintage condition, expected light marks / wear commensurate with age & use  - please see photos & click to enlarge.
