Tyre bar for removing and refitting tyres on alloy wheels
Suitable for car/van/4x4, quad, go-cart and bike alloys using a centre post stand or wheel holder
such as the Harbor Freight, Sealey TC960, TC961, TC962 and motorbike tyre changer TC965.
Black Powder Coated
If you're using a manual walk around center post tyre changer the standard bar that comes with the stand is fine for steel rims but it will damage your alloy wheels, you need a tyre bar with nylon fittings
Black powder coated so it won't rust, the bar is made from EN8 steel, with a higher carbon content than cheap mild steel.
"EN8 is a medium carbon steel usually supplied untreated. EN8 has good tensile strength and is often used in applications such as: shafts, gears, stressed pins, studs, bolts, keys etc"
All bolts and washers are A2/A4 Marine Grade stainless steel. High grade 6.6 black nylon ferrules, plate and bar end to protect your alloy rim, much better than standard cheap white nylon it's harder wearing and contains graphite making it slide easier
A bar refurbish kit is available. All nylon parts can also be bought separately. All come with new stainless fixing bolts and washers. Please message me for details.
