Up for offer is a very rare 18s Waltham key wind pin plate pocket watch! This watch is an 1857 model and was made in 1858. It was recently serviced to run great and keep very good time.
Movement: The watch is in very good running condition and it keeps very good time. The key wind P.S. Bartlett movement is all original and has a rare pin plate. It has 11 jewels, that are adjusted. It was serviced on November 23rd, 2016: was completely disassembled, cleaned and oiled, and a new unbreakable mainspring installed. Then it was adjusted to keep good time. It is in really great condition.
Dial: The original Appleton Tracy dial is in good condition, but has hairlines.
Case: The Hunter's case is made of coin silver and is in very good condition. It is not the original but is correct for the movement. The case looks very nice and the covers work as they should. This is a very special watch!
