Sold "as is."  Sold as is..  Sold as is.  Sold as is..  Sold as is.

Lot includes, (1) Rovio unit, (1) base charger and (1) docking station.

This Rovio comes with the headlight accessory, already installed.

List of issues found:

Charger connection to docking device is touchy and needs to be pressured on one side to get the power to stay connected. => should be repairable by opening up the docking station, fixing whatever loose connection it has.  As you can see in the picture it will power up and stay that way just by laying the power cord under the docking station.

Antenna is "floppy", does not have a stiff base, this does not appear to affect the wi-fi operation as in one picture you can see the ipad connected to it.

Item is a 2007 toy, the manufacturer no longer supports it, they just provide some old files, old info on it.  www dot wowwee dot com, => support, type in rovio.
There is PC software program that can be downloaded for Windows 7.  On test with this, the USB driver did not install or load in order to connect to the toy.  (Idea is, you use USB connection to tell the toy what wireless network to connect to and password. Once you have the IP address you probably can connect to it and control it via the onboard firmware.)  This problem might be overcome by 1. getting a XP copy of the software 2. purchasing an aftermarket software programs like at www dot roborealm dot com, 3. trying some freeware versions found at www dot robocommunity dot com.

There is ipad app available call Rovio Pivot that that support page references.  This app would not complete a user register process.

The battery does not appear to hold a charge.  Tested it for a 10 minute charge, there is no activity once removed from the base power connection.  It appears ebay has several listings for replacement batteries on Rovio.

Other than that, looks pretty neat.
Support can be found at www dot woweezone dot com, search rovio.
Youtube has a few videos, search "meet rovio demo", "wowwee Rovio", "rovio truetrack overview"

Headlights not tested.

So, in short, will need new battery, will need to experiment with some after market softwares or setup as originally done with XP, and if those 2 are overcome, then you probably want to tinker with the power connector or get a new base.

Please check with seller if you are buyer that is outside of continental USA.  I am not against shipping this item overseas it just that sometimes I will get a buyer in an unusual location that costs lots of money to ship it.
