A MAGNIFICENT ART DECO HAND CARVED NATURAL JADE AND AMETHYST PENDANT/BROOCH IN THE FORM OF FLOWERS AND LEAVES OF GREAT BEAUTY, HAND CARVED AND DATING TO C1890-1940.

This is just a magnificent antique jewel!  The design and craftsmanship on this antique Jade and Amethyst Art Deco pendant/brooch are absolutely of the highest quality.  The piece dates to between 1890 and 1940 in my opinion, although it could be earlier or later.  The piece has flowers which are made of individually carved pieces of jade or amethyst with red beads.  The leaves are jade.  They are beautifully done.  I believe they are connected with wire and silk.

The pendant/brooch is in good condition.  There are a few flecks off the leaves.  The petals are all essentially intact.  Please  see the photos for the condition.  It has two loops on the back to hang on a necklace chain or worn as a brooch or in the hair.  The piece 80mm by 50mm.   It weighs 14 grams.

This is a superb original Antique jewel, one with great drama and style, and so very hard to find in today's market!  The necklace is immensely wearable either during the day or at the most glamorous evening affair!  Treat yourself or a loved one to a treasure to cherish for generations and one which will only increase in value over time!
