This is a magnificent antique estate jewel!!! Absolutely the finest quality.  

Oh I just love this ring!  The ring features the most beautifully carved cameo.  And how rare and desirable to find the cameo done in angel skin coral!  The face is exquisite, the hair absolutely incredible!  The carving is very 3-dimensional attesting to the fine quality of the work.  There are grape clusters at the collar and throughout the hair indicating this may be a depiction of Bachus.  The ring dates to the Belle Epoque period c1860-1910, and hand carved cameo rings are all the rage today. A rare find!!!  

The ring comes from a prominent New York City estate.

The condition of the ring is excellent. The cameo is in excellent condition.  The ring is 24 mm by 23 mm.  The ring is currently a size 10 US (U UK, 22.5 French/Japanese) and can be easily resized if desired.   It tests for 14K.  It weighs 8.9 grams.
