I thought this was for a Series I XJ6, but was informed by a fellow eBayer it si correct for the Series III cars. See info:

It's the cut out that's the big give away. On the Series 3 the cut out is shaped to take a rubber grommet BAC3287, on the Series1 the cut is large oblong and Series 2 small oblong. More important is that the 2 an3 have a slightly flared arch whereas the Series 1 does not. All will bolt on with modification but the arch is noticeably different when side by side.
