One of four large mid century glass shop display bottles listed.
An original Warninks Advocaat advertising shop display bottle, made of glass, and dating to around the 1940's.
The bottle is in clear glass and the interior has a custard yellow wash giving the appearance of a full bottle. The top has it's original sealed 'De Erven Wed H Warnink Amsterdam' metal screw top.
The bottle has a 'Sole Registered Brand in England' crescent neck label, two Advocaat front labels, and a large descriptive 'extract from the Lancet 1911' 3 language rear label with ' Sole Agents : The Victoria Wine Company Ltd, London, W1' to one edge. - please see photos and click to enlarge.
Size : Approx 21 1/4" / 54cm tall. Just under 2.8 Kg unpacked.
Condition : Overall good vintage condition with no damage or restoration. The bottle has a few light marks commensurate with age & use and a small internal manufacturing bubble (last photo). There are small losses / rubbing / discolouration to the paper labels and the sealed metal screw lid has rubbing to the litho on the top - please see all photos & click to enlarge.
