Flawless playability - that's a pretty good way to describe this Custom 24. The set up is, well, perfect. The action is low, the neck is straight, the intonation is right on the money and this guitar plays like butter on hot toast in every position. The Pattern Thin neck is as fast as they come and the laser beam accurate fretwork makes any style of music a joy to play. This axe can cut any gig in the world. Period. The tremolo system is to die for. The sustain is still everything you'd expect from a hard-tail guitar as is the intonation. You can truly wail on that tremolo and always be confident it will return to where it needs to be so you're always in tune and able to keep rocking. The 5-way selector switch and coil-splitting options allow you to get some of the most desirable sounds you can think of with the different pickup configurations so you can get the most out of the 85/15 pickups. This Custom 24 is for the player who wants to be inspired every time they pick up their instrument. Visually, every time you look at this you'll fall in love with it all over again. Once pick it up, you'll be comfortable playing on it for hours and it may very well be a challenge to ever put it down. But hey, that's not such a bad thing, is it?

The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar. This iconic instrument was the first model that Paul Reed Smith brought to the public at PRS Guitars’ first Winter NAMM show in 1985 and has been a top seller ever since. Played by internationally touring artists, gigging musicians, and aspiring players, the Custom 24 features PRS’s patented tremolo system and PRS 85/15 treble and bass pickups with volume and tone controls and a 5-way blade switch. 85/15 pickups were personally designed by Paul Reed Smith for PRS’s 30th Anniversary. They offer remarkable clarity and extended high and low end.

The Custom 24 is the original PRS. Since its introduction, it has offered a unique tonal option for serious players and defined PRS tone and playability.

If it doesn't work the way you had hoped we'll send you a prepaid return label and issue you a 100% store credit, once we get the item back in the same condition it was purchased. It's that simple.

If you wish to return an item for a refund, we will ask that you cover the cost of return shipping. Please contact us for the return shipping address as well as return authorization number. Please allow 7-10 days from the receiving date for returns to be processed.

Your order must ship to the billing address associated with your credit card, PayPal, or other method of payment (unless an alternate shipping address has been approved by an MSL Gear Specialist).
If you want the shipment to be held at a shipping company hub it is your responsibility to make those arrangements directly with the shipping company.
An indirect signature will be required upon delivery for all transactions over $750. If you would like to require a signature on a transaction of less than $750, please request it when you place your order.
We do not insure packages valued under $3,000. If you would like to add insurance for delivery or return please request it when requesting your order or initiating your return.
All returns are subject to a Tech Check upon arrival. Any instrument that is returned with damage, wear and tear (including pick marks), missing or replaced parts, missing protective or packing materials are not eligible for a full refund.
