Offered for sale is this really well made south western Pueblo pottery Fish pipe, this was brought back to the Midwest in the 1920's or early 30's from a trip to New Mexico by Warren A. Hill (1887-1945), a collector from Backus Minnesota, whose very large Native American collection was sold last week at auction, This vessel and was most likely a tourist pottery piece picked up at a train station or Native American Pueblo or shop. It is a solid pottery piece 4" long and about 3" tall, about 1" thick, small hole for reed stem located on bottom of open mouth. no damage, cracks or wear other than some normal 80 year old patina from handling, it s unsigned.   .
