A Lovely Silver Plated Serving Dish with Domed Lid and an Inner Lid.

The base is stamped underneath with the makers mark: S.Ltd - William Suckling Ltd, Birmingham, England.

Originally this was probably used as a Muffin Dish but today it could easily be used as a butter dish.
It has a flat inner lid so the dish can also be used without the domed top on your table during your dinner party.
There are a few marks & scratches on the silver plate in various places as this item has been used and is not new.
However, the marks are not too serious and certainly don't detract from using the item.

The domed top lid has a wooden knob and the screw on this comes loose quite easily (so it starts to wobble).  However
it is easily tightened from inside and a drop of super glue on the thread would stop the problem, should you wish to do so.

It is a lovely vintage piece and would grace any dinner table.

It measure 18cm in diameter and is approximately 10.5cm tall (with the lid on).
