In horses, Devil’s Claw is used in cases of arthritis when there is pain or inflammation, any form of degenerative joint disorder or bony changes resulting in inflammation.
Tests carried out in
anti-inflammatory effects of Devil’s Claw to be comparable with cortisone and phenylbutazone, without any attendant side effects.
Equine Directions:
¨Add 1 litre of boiling water to 8 heaped teaspoons of Devil’s Claw.
¨Allow the tea to stand for 12 hours.
¨Strain & store in an airtight container.
¨Add 30ml to your horse or pony’s feed once a day. In severe cases it can be fed twice daily.
Granules can be added to food if you don't want to brew - however absorption is not as good as in the liquid format.
