A lovely solid silver small engine turned box. The lid hinges open to reveal a gilded interior. The initials 'M.W.' are engraved inside the lid. Please see condition report below and the photographs


Hallmarks: The box is English sterling silver hallmarked for London 1938 (Lion Passant, Leopard Head, Date Letter C). The maker's mark C&C refers to the silversmiths Cohen & Charles.


Dimensions: It measures about 4.7cm by 2.5cm and 6mm high. It weighs 16.1g.

 

Condition: The  box is in good original condition. There are a few little dints, but no splits, and no repairs. Please see photos.  The hinge opens and closes well.
