This kit is NOT the Kawada Nanoblock TINTIN "Unicorn". This is a kit made by a Chinese manufacturer "Mini World". The completed kit to me looks identical to the Kawada "Unicorn" (I've built both).
Absolutely BRAND NEW....... The box has some minor creasing from transportation.
The Kawada "Unicorn" was released in 2011. It's been out of production for several years and it's getting harder and harder to find, and the price keeps going up and up and up! The last time I looked (Dec 8, 2016), the least expensive kit was $499.15, delivered, on E-Bay and $489.87, delivered, on Amazon.
In China, there's a company, Mini-World, that makes a ship that looks just like the "Unicorn". It's sold in China.
I was just in China and I brought back several kits. The completed kit seems to be absolutely identical to Kawada's "Unicorn", except it is made out of "Diamond Blocks" instead of "Nanoblocks". Diamond Blocks and Nanoblocks are 100% compatible, exactly the same size and shape, except that some Diamond Blocks (2x2, 2x4, 2x8) have a peg and tube type connection, where the same size of Nanoblocks have a center ridge so the block can slide.
As I mentioned above, some nanoblocks can slide while diamond blocks cannot. Kawada sometimes uses that fact in their design. When Mini-World designed their kit it appears that a nanoblock "slide" ability was assumed for ONE block (so that the block could be centered). I'll marked-up the page in the Mini-World instructions to show you where that ONE block is. I'll also include a nanoblock (you'll only need one) to correct the problem.
Of the kits I brought back from China, I built 1 of them. It's absolutely beautiful.... looks just like the Nanoblock version. I can't tell the difference. The quality of the kit is excellent. The fit is tight and the colors are uniform. The kit is superb.

The kit will be shipped to you via USPS in the United States (parcel select or priority, your choice) with delivery confirmation. It's expensive to ship, but what you see here is what it costs..... I don't make a penny on the shipping. I actually lose money on the shipping since both E-Bay and PayPal take their commission out of the shipping charges you pay and I get what's left to pay for the shipping.
