'Super Short Shift' gear selector kit for Astra/Zafira's with Z20LET and Z22SE engine's. Will also fit most other petrol and diesel Vauxhall's which use the 'F23' manual 5 speed gearbox listed above (if i have missed out any vehicles or you are unsure if this kit works with your car feel free to message me).

This kit has been designed to upgrade your standard gearstick selector unit without modifying or losing any visible interior trims.  

The kit reduces the distance required to change from one gear to another, for example the distance required to change from 3rd into 4th is halved! The throw reduction of this kit has been tested against all known competitors and has been proven to reduce the throw by a significantly larger margin than ANY other short shift available for the F23 gearboxes/selector units. This kit can be used in conjunction with a short shift that fits on the gearbox itself to further reduce the travel

This shorter gear throw enables the driver to make faster and smoother gear changes while also giving them the potential to produce faster lap times on race tracks and drag strips. 

The kit contains a CNC machined adaptor made of high grade billet aluminium which slides directly onto the end of the gearstick and is secured with a grub screw. 

To accommodate the extra length added to the gearstick there are 4 platform spacers included in the kit also made from billet aluminium with extended bolts and washers to match. They are used to raise the gearstick housing unit just enough to give the required clearance without fouling any interior trim panels. The spacers also position the gearknob to a more desirable height, thus making transition times from the steering wheel to gearstick faster whilst feeling sportier and more natural to use. This all correlates to even faster, more precise gear changes during aggressive, racey and spirited driving situations.
