This is a hard-to-find Schilke C trumpet completed in March of 1967, making it currently 49 years old.
This is a C7, which means that it is a step-bore changing after the lead pipe, so it has quite an individual free-blowing character. I find that the horn's tonal quality can be easily altered with the change of a mouthpiece. You can clearly see some plating wear around the valves.
