Due to popular demand and great response to my Kenwood Microphone offering,

I have started selling this 8 pin YAESU version.

Since I have to totally replace the mic connector, this one will cost you a few bucks more than the 4 pin one.

This is an auction for a brand new Superstar DM-507 Dynamic Replacement Microphone. This unit is made by Superstar/Workman and has been re-wired with a new microphone plug to be compatible to YAESU FT-757, 890, 990 and many other 8 pin YAESU Radios. This microphone is a good sounding little light weight 500 to 600 ohm replacement microphone. Only pins 6, 7 and 8 are wired to give PTT, Audio & Ground. All others are not used. This allows this mic to be compatible to nearly all Yaesu 8 pin round mic connector radios, even those radios with +5v or other functions on other pins. As long as you don't need up/down or the other functions, this mic is fine.

(VOX operation is NOT operational as currently wired since the audio line is not connected until the PTT button is pushed.)

This microphone is great for a "get by" microphone for an old radio that is missing one or for every day use. The little "Belden" style skinny cord stretches a long way and for some folks this is the only mike they need! 

Is this a cheap mike?

Yes! But they sound great with most radios and might be all you are looking for!

This would be especially so if you need one for a unit you have just obtained or you want to sell your radio and don't want to give away your expensive base mike with it etc.

One final note: If you bought a used radio at a Hamfest or otherwise, you might want to make sure your radio is really operational first! These are wired to the correct 8 pin YAESU standard microphone wiring. if it doesn't work on yours, you may have a radio problem, most likely it's not the mike!!!

Priority Mail Items should arrive by the estimated delivery date.  We ship next business day at the latest and most of the time the same day. Item arrival times are something we can’t control. That is the shipper’s responsibility. Upon the extremely rare occasion that you could possibly not get your item in a timely manner, it will be because of the shipper. We WILL NOT be held responsible for the shippers actions. We will ship to an address considered domestic by the US Postal Service; yes this includes Hawaii, Puerto Rico & Alaska. We use eBay's Global Shipping Program for International Shipments.

Tracking numbers are automatically generated and an email is sent via PayPal to YOUR registered email address that is associated to THE PAYPAL ACCOUNT YOU PAID WITH! For people with multiple PayPal accounts, make sure you are looking at the right one! If you don’t receive a tracking number, it’s most likely an email issue. It may be your email account or possibly PayPal’s. We don’t automatically message tracking info because it is sent once already by PayPal. We WILL forward tracking and other related information if asked politely. Don’t wait two weeks to ask a question and then complain you didn’t get an answer for two weeks!
