This classical guitar has been made by the luthier Bernd Martin. This guitar maker of German background (living in Granada since 1976) is considered one of the best makers in today´s panorama. With a vast knowledge of original guitars made by the great craftsmen (Antonio de Torres, Manuel Ramírez, Santos Hernández…), and learning directly from some of the best luthiers in Granada school, such as Eduardo Ferrer, Antonio Durán or José López Bellido, among others, Bernd Martin makes instruments with a unique and personal sound, praised and renowned by guitarists all over the world.

This guitar is an built according to an old Torres model.

The different woods in this classical guitar are of the top existing quality. The top is made of German spruce, with an outlined grain, straight and smooth, that endorse its exceptional quality. The back and sides are made of Indian rosewood, very homogeneous, with a lovely chocolate black tone. The finishing is elegant and sober.

The sound of this guitar is unique. The basses are unbelievably strong and deep, the trebles are sweet and clear, with an unmatchable sustain and projection. The harmonics it releases are truly magic. It is definitely a perfect sound, which makes us understand the respect and admiration that this luthier gets from the guitar world.

The tension of this classical guitar is medium, and the height of the strings in the saddle and fingerboard, really balanced, which provides us with a high degree of comfort for both hands.
