Rare Durgin Sterling Silver Louis XV Cracker Spoon c 1891
Offering a beautiful & rare antique sterling silver cracker spoon, scoop in the "Louis XV" pattern designed in 1891. It was made by Durgin Silver Co. and the pattern is now discontinued. The Scoop is 7 1/2" long and 3 3/4"
wide, in excellent condition with normal use as expected for its age. There is a light script monogram on the handle which is hard to read and does not detract from the piece. The back is hallmarked "D" for Durgin, Sterling and A.G. Page (for the original retailer of this). It weighs in at 64.7 grams on my scale. It will be a beautiful addition to any silver service.
