A little about the artist:
It is believed Peti Clements was reared on a small rural Alabama farm in the black belt of Montgomery. Her oil paintings mostly depict scenes from these rural farms and other various animals. Most of her work was done in the 1980's.
There is a permanent collection of her artwork in Northern Alabama at the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art.
