Although camouflage schemes of other ships and of other eras are touched upon, the focus is on World War II.  The Japanese produced some incredible ‘splinter’ schemes on aircraft carrier decks and they’re covered in this nicely done reference work, which includes a color chip chart of IJN ships.  Text is in Japanese but if you are looking for the final touch for your next kit, or if you are just looking for the final detail on your knowledge of how IJN vessels looked, here’s a superb reference tool for the advanced modeler.  This 108-page, 7.25 x 10.25 inch softcover is out of print, and becoming very difficult to find.
